You get the most stunning views of the lake from your room and the terrace of the property.

The property is an Airbnb. The guys owning the place are exemplary hosts.

This property was once their home before they renovated and turned it into an Airbnb.

Before I tell you why this is my go to place to stay in Udaipur when I visit Udaipur each year, let me give you some basic details about the property.

The place has all the amenities you’ll need and is more luxurious compared to other Airbnbs. The ground-level has a sitting area, dining area, and a fully equipped and well-stocked kitchen. It also has a dedicated room for the caretaker of the property (he is a real champ… More on that later). These are some pictures of the sitting area and dining area –

The first level has two rooms and a tiny reading area.

The second level has two rooms, one of which (The Green Room) has always been my favorite during my stay in Udaipur. Here are some pictures of the rooms on the second level.

And finally, the third level is the terrace, which offers a 360-degree view of the city, and beautiful sunsets.

To be frank – it is not just the property or location. It is the people who run it. An adorable couple – Lovely and jeetu, and the caretaker – Manish. They treat you like family. Lovely is an amazing cook and she makes a killer breakfast! Lovely and Jeetu, have put so much thought and love into decorating each corner and brick of this beautiful house – that you can feel it when you stay here. Oh and they have an adorable son with chubby cheeks that you’ll just want to pull! Manish is real sweetheart too 🙂 I cannot thank him enough for everything he helped me with during my stay.

This property is so much more than just a place to stay. You’ll want to come back here. You’ll want to recommend this place to everyone you know and almost force them to go here.

I have some lovely memories of this place and I genuinely cannot recommend a better home stay in Udaipur.
