If you ever feel like running away to find your inner peace in the middle of a lush forest and want to be surrounded by the chirping of birds and gentle breeze – then your search ends here.

This property is in Lonavala, just two hours drive from Mumbai. So, you can plan a quick getaway to this property and be back in the city on Monday morning.

Me and my girl friends decided to go on an impromptu trip on a weekend and got lucky as this property was available.

As soon as we arrived there, we were greeted by the caretaker, a very cordial man who showed us around the property as if we were on a proper guided tour.

Your accommodation comes with three bedrooms and huge living area. It is going to be tough to pick a room for yourself because each one is beautiful and has a different feel to it.

This property has two deck areas! Not one! One per level and both of them are my favorites. There are so many nooks and corner for you to curl up and sit with a book and a cup of coffee. This was my “go to” corner:

Not just the interiors, also the surroundings of the bungalow make the stay special. As a huge expanse of private land, this bungalow has such cute and well maintained gardens all around the property. Have a look at them:

There is an in house chef option, but we dind’t go for it – but just got food from nearby restaurants. Within ten minutes from the property, you’ll find lots of restaurants so, if you have your own vehicle, you can easily get everything from proper North-Indian food to pizzas nearby!

We were there in the summer but I cannot wait to go back in the monsoons season, as I am sure it will be even more beautiful then.
